My thoughts on the MXT

I have used the MXT for about 4 years. Things improved when I bought the 6x10 DD coil. It is really quite good in trashy sites. I don't think the MXT will ever match the Nautilus or Tesoro for depth but the coil helps see through trashy areas and usually gives signals for different targets that are relatively close together. You still need to know your machine to get the best out of it but I am sure you already know that.
The reason I asked you the question is because your post almost sounded like you had already made up your mind that the other two machines would outperform the MXT. In some areas they no doubt will but the MXT does a pretty good job as well in the right hands.
