Hi,I've been using the 6x10 DD and the 4x6 DD coils on my MXT,I like that pinpointing is easier with the DD coils.Most of the time I used the coin and jewelry mode and find that it IDs well,Gain as high as you can and keep it from falsing.dual control at 3 depending on trash.Ground trac or lock for dry sand and dirt,and salt trac for wet sand. A lot of people like the relic mode for its high tone low tone response.I have not used the relic mode much.The little 4x6 coil is great around trash and gets around 6" of depth on a dime.I love mine and use it at the beach every summer also,does a good job in black sand.Just remember when in ground trac mode your target will disappear if you keep sweeping over it.In lock it should stay.Don't forget to properly Ground balance by pumping it up and down till it becomes smooth.
