I am a long time fan of the Cibola. Some of my favorite finds are with this machine. I do prefer the smaller 6 inch coil when detecting. When properly adjusted you can take it right to the waters edge, saltwater that is. Not going to happen with a Tesoro Tejon, ever. Here is just two of my finds;

I also use the Vaquero. It does the same as the Cibola, but it comes with a ground balance. The only difference is the tone of the targets. My first detector though was the Fisher 1266. It earned it's stripes on more than once.
