Does anyone remember the detector that almost won the GNRS?

Was it only by two point that it came in second?
How can the be? A brand that nobody had heard of in twenty years comes out of the chute and almost wins the Grand National Relic Shootout? I think I like the T2 just as well as my Fisher F75. It seems to be a smoother detector than the F75. And it also seems to be a tiny bit better in trash. Probably my imagination...but I do like the T2.
