All forums limit the picture size. If the picture is too big the forum will load too slow. Most use physical of the picture as the limit. We use file size. The picture can be as big as you want. So go download Irfanview from the information picture resizing page on this forum. Open up the picture you want to post in Irfanview. Click on "Image" and look at the file size. If it is below 50 KB you are good. If it is not you have tow ways to resize in Irfanview. The first way is to look back under the "Image" button and click on "Resize". You will be able to resize your picture dowt to 50 kb. Just look at image information after you resize to make sure you got it small enough.

The next way to downsize a picture is to save it as a JPG file or a GIF file. Either way will drop the file size down. you can save an image first as a PNG file to avoid losing any detail. Try that later. Just practice with it and it will all come together. I use Photobucket as it is the easiest way to get a picture ready for the web. If i was you I would follow the instructions on the Picture posting information page and download it also. I know that is a lot to think about but you will pick it up once you download and practice with each program.
