I used to just plopping my buttons and such with the other relics.... when I started going on these hunts back east, I saw everyone putting them in protective pill bottles and such. ???? came accross my mind but when I went to recover my buttons out of my pouch... the were dust and left me w/ some nice button backs! Now I too when I hunt there follow suit!!!
I suppose that's why I can straighten many of the relics myself as they are still pretty solid. Many one could polish and wear today.
