Mayor,
Someone emailed me a link to a forum where you posted that DIV had digressed to the point of scratching around in old CW huts for junk leavings. Did you really believe what you posted? At the previous 8 DIV hunts we have recovered over 700 marked Union plates and 64 marked Confederate plates, not to mention 17,000 yankee buttons and over 300 Confederate buttons, 35,000 assorted bullets, 500 CW period bottles and almost 100 corps badges and ID discs.

I realize that in the past you probably wern't allowed to browse the picture gallery at the Spot but take a minute to look it over and you will probably see that hut/trashpit diggin't is very very lucritive for relic hunters.

Good to see another detecting forum. Good Luck and please keep it real!
