....I can handle the heat, but the bugs eat you alive right on the spot. I guess they figure, if they pick you up and take you home to eat....the big ones will take you away from them.
I have been told, after the fall of Fort Morgan, the Confederate weapons were used to "corderoy" a road thru the soft sand in various places. I've searched several places of the old road all the way to Ala.59 with no luck. Even tried to find Camp Withers....again, no luck.
