For inland hunting, it just does everything I want from a detector! However... there's some interesting stuff in the pipeline so who knows... FT/Fisher has been so pro-active and innovative the past year or so... and I'm a big fan of the Dave Johnson "style" for detectors.... I'd be willing to bet anything that takes over as my "favorite" will be another one of his creations.
