killed a man Remember about 12 years or so
ago when the "Treasure Despot" left t-net and formed his own website due to censorship and the
limitations of the format and his site was actually a fun place? The Pit, the original intent
behind the GNRS(who had the best machines, to gather and have fun)before the big $$$ e.g. $200.00 hunt fee times 200 people x 2 times a year
+ 2 campouts a year @ $300.00 a head x 100 participants per campout = $140,000.00 per year -
$40,000.00 for leasing sites and other expenses =
$100,000.00 in addition to advertising fees paid to the "Despot" by manufacturors and dealers and
what was once a site with pure motives is now dedicated to $$$, hey I have no problem with that.
The problem I have is with the hypocrisy and the grinding down of people who disagree in the slightest with the "Despot", who go on other hunts
not approved by the "Despot", the approved list of
relic hunters one can hang with and don't you dare
hunt with the unapproved or face the wrath of the
"Despot". You will be banned by the "Despot" if you post on unapproved websites
thus losing the opportunity to go on the much sought after BBBB hunts, that's Bucky Balls & Button Backs..."We will dig a relic!" Now
he has competition from some guys who are living
ang digging in Virginia, they use machines that
can hunt real bad soil unlike the "Despot's" machine so when both parties scouted the same site the "Despot" bless his Texas heart passed and the other guys(who have been kicking his butt) leased the site...they've dug a museum the last four years between Brandy and Filippo and the "Despot" uhhh, errr, hmmm, has not! Hilarious how the "Despot" either alludes to or states outright that the other guys plant relics. Let's see they planted hundreds of plates, pairs and pairs of brogans, a cache of canteens, bugles, hundreds and hundreds of bottles and ink wells, thousands and thousands of bullets and buttons oh yeah the planted an entire plank road/railroad bed? That is very generous of those guys spending five times the amount on relics to plant for their hunts than they take in for the fees from the participants. Somebody should tell the "Despot" that he looks like a liar when he spouts such nonsense. Crow's Nest, Clark Mountain, and Dominicker Roost Farms(15,000 cavalry my @** Wayne!) aka "The Poseidon Adventure", "Towering Inferno" and "Titanic" were his 0-3 Virginia hunts scouted by Brain Olsen...oh well Git-R-Dun or some other hokey garbage
