Way back a long time ago I owned one the first Garrett ADS detector they put out. Garrett went on to make many different models of the ADS series of detectors. They were all great but the first one was a milestone. When the first ADS detector came out we were all still using Metrotech detectors. The ADS was a lot deeper than anything else we had used before. I found a lot of great stuff with it... I have not seen a Garrett ADS detector in a long time. Compared to current Garrett models I am sure it does not have the performance I remember but buddy I am telling ya...back then it was the king...
