Don't use the plowed field mode. Stay in the Default mode. Once you get it quiet with the notch...run the sensitivity wherever you want. We find that the depth of detection is very good all the way down to 60 and below. I tend to run mine high 75-90..but Mike King seems to like to run between 60-70. Check and recheck the ground balance. I tend to forget to do that sometimes. Some seem to think that the higher frequency settings (6-7) finds them more buttons. I just set mine to the least noisy setting which in my mind means more depth. Try em all. That is all for now....
