While the F75 might not be the best choice...I really don't know..I have heard they were getting used for prospecting. You already know how well the small coil is working on salt sand beaches. It should be just as good in black sand for small gold targets. Had a great time with you guys last nite and that restaurant they we turned into a bar. About the little incident with the owner. I promise not to get you thrown out the next time we all get together. 
The food was really good. Sorry you had to leave....
