Joka...

If your F75 was noisy there is a reason. You have to have the notch in a setting that is notching "out" the iron rather than notching "in" the iron. As the detector comes from the factory it is in 0 notch position. Even though it says 1...it is at 0 on the first start up. Once you ever go to the Notch on the menu you have reversed the notch to where you are now notching "in" all small iron rather than notching it "out". Hitting the menu switch while you are in the notch mode always reverses whatever notch mode it was in. So hit menu one time and it notches "in" the area you have highlighted. Go out of the notch mode and the next time you go back in with the menu you notch "out" the area that the notch is in. I told Fisher just this week that I would sign up for a 3 day class just to be sure I understand their notching system.
But that is the reason your F75 was noisy. It will be very quiet once you get the notch correct.
I am going back to look at all your other set up positions to see if I agree. i will come back if I have any other suggestions...
That F75 is a major hit in the UK.
