I've kept with my tradition (addiction?) and also have a F-70 and elliptical coil on order. Not that I don't trust your opinion. But I'm just too set in my ways to take someone else's word for what might work well for me. I like to try them all and keep those that do the job for me. Frankly, my "arsenal" is as low now as it has been in quite some time. Just seems that some of the newer detectors are flexible enough to do the job of two or three older units. I recognize that the F-70 doesn't have the flexibility or all the functionality of my X-70. But it does offer the small elliptical coil for those tight spots. I'm hoping the two of them will be a good combination for me. I'll keep you posted. HH Randy
