I run my volume all the way up so I can hear even the slightest whisper of treasure. I put the sensitivity at the max it will go and still stay stable. Remember if you move the sensitivity knob you should reground ballance the unit.I ground ballance my detector everytime I hunt. Not just on the preset marks. It will get you more sensitivity and more depth.
I would like feedback on what I am telling you. From anybody on this site.
Oh by the way were did you get the chest harness from?
