Howdy Bounty Hunter fan....
I have tried Bounty Hunter detectors in the past. I always thought about the line being great for beginners but that eventually all would move on to other brands. I recently aquired two BH detectors just to see how they have progressed. Well let me tell ya'. Since Dave Johnson has come aboard at First Texas, Bounty Hunter has dramatically improved.!! The new improved Bounty Hunters compete with other brands just fine. I love the weight and balance of the two I am using. I would not hesitate to grab one and go hunt with it. In fact I already have with good success.
If you are an old time detectorist you need to look at Bounty Hunters once again. If you are a new detectorist using a Bounty Hunter as your first detector....you are using a detector that will run with the big dogs any day of the week.
