I just received the last of the original Sovereign 8" CoinSearch coils. This is the lighter weight white coil. Some have said they aren't waterproof, but I've had mine in fresh and saltwater since 1992 with no problems. I do recommend you silicone the cable support if your planning on shallow water ventures. This is the last of them and this is the same coil that still holds my depth record. Excellent in heavy iron trash (DD) and BAD ground.
